Sherry Recht

MA, LCPC

Sherry is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who is passionate about helping children, teens, young adults, and parents navigate life’s challenges. Known for her warm, down-to-earth approach, Sherry creates a space where clients can be themselves without fear of judgment. She understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating and works to help clients feel comfortable, connected, and understood from the very first session.

She has a special passion for supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate friendships, family relationships, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and the growing pressures that come with school, work, and increasing independence. When working with children and teens, Sherry partners closely with parents to strengthen communication, build understanding, and support meaningful change both inside and outside of the therapy room.

Recognizing that every individual and family has a unique story, Sherry tailors treatment to meet each client’s specific needs and goals. Drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches, she helps clients build on their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Clients often describe Sherry as easy to talk to, compassionate, and genuine. Her goal is for every client to leave therapy feeling supported, empowered, and more confident in navigating life’s challenges.
