Throughout her life, Maddie has always had a passion for helping people. A deeply empathic and caring person, she believes that helping others is one of the most powerful ways to create positive change in the world. Maddie is motivated by the transformative energy experienced when vulnerability is met with empathy and understanding. She practices with the belief that when someone feels seen, heard, understood, empowered and supported - any goal is possible.
Maddie creates a safe space for new clients to explore their own motivation to change. Her experience has proven that even the smallest moments of connection - a kind word, a listening ear, a shared experience - can be the first step in creating meaningful change on a small or large scale. Maddie’s greatest rewards stem from witnessing her clients’ progress - no matter how big or small.
Maddie’s therapy journey originates from her own gratitude for receiving help from the right people, at the right time in her life. She knows first hand how significant the benefits of therapy can be. She believes that everyone deserves to have the opportunity to reach their full potential and create a better life for themselves.
Maddie works with children of all ages and their families. With a special certification in Recreational Therapy, interventions are typically activity-based and emphasize a client’s strengths and their joys at the same time. This promotes positive well-being through building healthy coping skills, genuine self-esteem and high confidence.
