Marnie is the Founder and Executive Director of Best Self Inc. Marnie oversees all practice operations to ensure the mission of Best Self Inc. remains on a steady path to fulfillment. A practice committed to ongoing growth for both clinicians and clients, Best Self Inc. is a safe environment where families can heal and empower one another to achieve their fullest potential.

Marnie believes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. She is proud to work alongside a team of clinicians who maximize their creative abilities everyday. Each therapeutic relationship is a collaboration, to develop that special set of strategies that will make the difference. Marnie is grateful for the opportunity to positively impact the life of a child and brighten the path to a happy, healthy future.

Marnie enjoys working with parents to form a deep understanding of their child’s unique profile and identify their individual needs. Knowing that parenting is equally challenging and rewarding, Marnie supports all who embark on this wonderful journey.

Marnie helps parents learn to become a stronger team, identify and resolve conflict in the way and set their children up for successful adulthood. Marnie’s experience and expertise includes a wide range of diagnoses/challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, ASD, defiant behavior, underachievement, social skill deficits, developmental delays, family conflict, major life changes and separation/divorce.

For parents navigating separation or divorce, Marnie offers co-parenting counseling. Parents learn to re-define their working relationship and cope with difficulties resulting from change. Marnie helps parents reduce conflict and increase cooperation, for the benefit of the children they love (so they may adjust positively). Marnie provides parent education, facilitates discussion regarding children’s needs and parenting priorities, and develops methods to improve communication between parents.
